To make my butterfly effect picture, I took my picture into photoshop and I shrunk it to 4x4. Then, I hit duplicate layer and I moved around the layers that I duplicated to make reflections of the pinecone.
I really enjoyed the independent project because I got to freely take pictures of anything I saw. In some of them, I combined water, oil and dye to make a cool looking mixture. In others, I put objects on a light box. I put a slice of an orange on and also I put a bee hive thing on the light box. In one of them, we turned off the lights in the locker room and spun around while holding flashlights so the light would look long. I took some pictures of nature outside too I really enjoyed this project because of how creative I got to be.
Cecil Beaton was born on January 14th 1904 and died on January 18th 1980, both in the United Kingdom. He was introduced to photography by his nurse who gave him his first camera when he was 11. She taught him how to use it and how to process negatives and prints. He developed a style of portraiture, where the subject is in front of a plain background and she would have one other things in the picture with her, such as a piece of jewelry or cloths. He was most known for his photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Twiggy. He published his work in Vogue and Vanity Fair magazines. He won Oscars and Tony Awards for his photography as well.
