I have enjoyed almost everything that we have done in photography so far. My favorites though, have been the paper lanterns, the mirror selfies and the gradient project that we are doing now. The paper lanterns was one of my favorites because I enjoyed how creative I could be with it. You got to create your own shapes in Photoshop and then cut them out on your own with a knife. Also, I thought it was cool how the shadows changed so much when you moved the light only a little. The mirror selfies were one of my favorites as well because I liked how I thought it was going to be really easy but once I began taking the pictures, I realized it was much harder than it looks because you have to angle the mirror exactly how you want it and then also be focusing on the angle of your camera so the pictures are unique. The gradient selfie project is definitely my all time favorite project that we have done so far. I like how you get to make the picture look however you want in Photoshop and then even tracing it was kind of fun. I like to paint and it was a nice change to what we have been doing all year so far and it was fun to make paint colors too because you have to use your judgement to make it look exactly how you want it to. Some valuable things that I've learned so far in photography is how to use photoshop. Photoshop is becoming a big part of today's culture and knowing how to use it is important. A project that helped me enhance this skill is 12 days of Photoshop because of how many different tools I needed to use in Photoshop to create the projects such as the clone stamp and the image adjustment tools that help you change the color of things that you want. If I were to revisit a project to make it better I would definitely revisit my 12 days of Photoshop. I like my work but I think if I went back I would've been able to make the projects a little better and more realistic. In photography, I would like to learn how to take better actual pictures on my camera to make them look professional. I think I'll try taking better pictures once the weather gets nicer so I can go outside and take pictures.
